Read & Talk Club with Mariia | B1–C1

Join Mariia for a relaxed, friendly English reading and conversation club for young adults and adults at B1–C1 level.

Each session is built around reading, discussion, and real conversation. You might explore a short story, article, seasonal topic, or thought-provoking text, then use it as a starting point to share ideas, learn new vocabulary, practise speaking, and build confidence expressing yourself in English.

The aim is not to study English from a textbook. It is to actually use it.

Mariia is a Ukrainian English teacher currently based in Ireland. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English as a Second Language and Literature and has experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. She especially enjoys reading-based activities and conversation classes, and brings her love of language and literature into her lessons.

This club is a space where you can:

improve your speaking and conversation skills

develop vocabulary naturally through reading

practise giving opinions and discussing ideas

improve reading comprehension

become more confident speaking with others

connect with people from different countries and backgrounds

You do not need to speak perfect English. Come ready to read, talk, listen, ask questions, and join the conversation.
